There's a New Witch in Town by Carolyn Ridder Aspenson

It started off fun and then the cliches just got to be too much and annoying. The whole mystery was dumb and had no stakes. The whole town started off interesting but then the plot just moved unnecessarily fast so there was barely any motivated character development or relationship development. It just became one cliché after another and a poorly described magic system.

A book Can be cliché and not the most descriptive but it has to be fun. And it wasn’t fun in the end, it was just kind of like wtf

I flew through this in a day thinking this would be a good brain reset but it was really just mid and the world building sucked

I have been provided with a copy of There’s a New Witch in Town by the author for an impartial review. This is the first book in the brand-new The Holiday Hills Witch Cozy Mystery series and this was just a fantastic way to start off a new series. I was immediately drawn into this world with this amazing storyline and it’s amazing characters. I just had so much fun reading this story and I just couldn’t help but fall in love with all of the characters. I was just so sad to turn the last page. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

The plot of this book was so much fun, a girl who writes a cozy mystery series about a witch discovers she’s a witch too! I enjoyed this book I can’t wait to continue the series and see what’s in store for Abby and her talking cat Cooper. Read this on kindle Unlimited

Abby Odell moved back to Holiday Hills a small town where she is living above her favorite bookstore and coffee shop, The Enchanted. Abby enjoys her days being a ghost writer of paranormal cozy mysteries and spending time with her best friend, Stella.. Her mother, Addie informed her before dying that Abby is a witch. Bombshell! Cooper, Abby's cat/familiar and Bessie, Addie's best friend help Abby deal with being a witch. While visiting her family tomb, Abby finds a body dead. what else could happen.

This story was a great read and I loved being introduced to all the characters. I can't wait for the next in the Holiday Hills Witch Cozy Mystery.
