I really enjoyed this one - even though I found it hard to read at times - it felt slightly different to the previous novels in that there were fewer interviews and more police work and 'clues'.

I love the little snarky/bantery comments Fawley gives during his narrative chapters. Almost like he is breaking the fourth wall 'Fleabag' style. Little wry observations about the situation or the person that make me smile.

I really like that the timeline between each book has jumped a few months and doesn't just pick up where the last left. It makes it feel like a different story each time with new events and challenges and progression. It also ensures there are new factors or relationships to catch up on so you have another focus outside of the main plot.

I would definitely recommend this series.

Screaming, crying and throwing up at the ending. Literally kicking my feet

this one was good!! i had a much better time following the sequence of events and characters compared to the first two books. i didnt love
all the random romantic sideplots with somer
but it wasnt a huge issue. i feel like the general plot was a little bit weak but it was completed nicely (albeit so sadly oh my god)

Recomendo!
