I liked it. Had a few great laughs. Not his best work in my opinion but totally worth the time. He's a terrific writer. Finished well.

I really loved his book "This is Where I Leave You", and if I had read this one first I'd probably give it 5 stars. This book is really good, but it's the same voice that's in TIWILY, and I wonder if he's a one-trick pony. Either way, a funny and fast read.

I thought this would make a great movie. It almost reminded me of a chick lit book written specifically for a man though, but it was funny and entertaining throughout. Is there such a thing as "chuck lit"?

Not as good as the others but for 25ยข from the thrift store, I'm not complaining.

I picked this up expecting the humor of This Is Where I Leave You. It has a couple of funny moments, provided by the main character's father's antics but it isn't a comedy, it is more like chick lit written from a guy's perspective. As a reader, you can predict where every storyline is going to end, which is fine, it should be expected from a feel good book like this. It is enjoyable, a solid 3 star book.

This is my favorite of Jonathan Tropper's books. It's similar to chick lit, but written from a guy's point of view. Jonathan has an amazing way with words and his books are full of humor.

In this one, Zack is engaged to a gorgeous woman but all he can think of is how he feels for his best friend's widow. She, of course, has no idea of his feelings for her. Zack is so likably flawed, it's hard not to root for him. Certain events occur - including his dad coming into the picture - and then everything changes.

This is a bold story about making decisions and dealing with their consequences. It's brilliantly done, and makes me cry every time I get to the ending. One of my top five favorite books of all time!
