I truly loved this book. I think this book truly encapsulates how wonderful JK. Rowling’s writing and world-building is. 
In this book we see Harry, Ron and Hermione go into their 3rd year at Hogwarts. We are introduced to Harry’s godfather Sirius black who

Escaped from Azkaban after 12 years there due to being blamed for the death of lily and James potter

 
We also see Draco grow up a bit in this book, while he is still the bully that we remember from the first two books. We see him slowly maturing. He of course is still a character that we all love to hate and it sure was funny when he

got kicked by Buckbeak and got hit by Hermione

 
This book is just such a wonderful read.
