SO SO funny. If you have a child in elementary school and enjoy sarcasm, definitely read this. I want this woman as the class mom for kids' classes. And in addition to the hilarity, there is a mystery that develops that's super fun to unravel. I read it in about a day and a half. Read it with coffee in the morning and wine at night, then pass it on to another mom in class.

A really fun summer read. Witty and sarcastic. Thoroughly enjoyed.

let me start this off by saying i was not expecting to like this book at all. i read this entire book in one sitting, it was so good. i didn’t expect to be drawn in like i was. when i tell u i bust out laughing so many times while reading this. this book was such a hoot. i will def be reading the rest of the series. the jokes were top tier and the tea was piping hot. i don’t think i could’ve loved this book anymore than i have.

Just not my thing. I read this because I got it for free, and then passed it on. A quick and easy read, but didn't keep my attention. Points for humor, though!

I would rate this book around 2.5 to 3 - ish stars. I’ll save you the detailed version of the Class Mom aka the main character, Jen Dixon. Jen is on her first day of her role as Class mom for her son’s kindergarten class. The book tackles, well I wouldn’t say issues but for lack of better terms, issues such as the ‘Peter Pan Syndrome’ , politics and communications. It was fun reading Jen’s emails to the other parents. Sometimes, Asami and Shirleen made me roll my eyes far too many times but no one made me roll it more than Don, an old flame of Jen. There were a lot to unpack in this book so better make sure you are actually reading and understanding the plot which I didn’t. (Guilty. Don’t be like me) The actual climax to the ending was very unexpected but it was brought in too late in my opinion. I wanted to know more on the hot goss! Nonetheless, pleased to have had this book to break my reading hiatus.

Fun read

This book felt like hanging out with your best friend. I recognize everyone in this book from my own life. It’s very accurate for the world of elementary school.
