this was a disappointment from chapter 1. I did kinda guess the culprit which was good. too much sports talk for me. dual timeline was annoying.
I finished this one pretty quickly. The story was good, and the solution kept to itself throughout. All-around, a pleasant read.

This was pretty good! It definitely kept me guessing and I liked the answer to the final mystery. Especially the reveal about the FMC on the last page. I also liked how the FMC wasn’t a very good person. However, this book didn’t really stick out to me. I would still read more from this author!

I enjoyed several things about this: the isolated mountain setting, the locked-room/closed-circle device, and the alternating timelines. However, I feel like the plot got bogged down with too many snowboarding details. Solid debut, though!
