The Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris

5.0

The draw between Clarice Starling and Hannibal Lecter is a dance I felt swept up in. I was not prepared for how I would be drawn in, but before I knew it, Lecter had set his left food forward and I was helpless but to follow.

Clarice is one of the hardest and most badass women I have ever read. An incredible protagonist, perfectly executed and marvelously portrayed. I am absolutely in love with her.

Tension, pacing, steady like your heart hammering in your chest with suspense. Once again, Harris has absolutely floored me. Fantastic book, fantastic characters. Truly a legacy piece.
