Like with all of Sager’s books, this was a quick easy fun little read that held my attention throughout. However, this is probably my least favorite Riley Sager book that I’ve read so far.
First off, I think I hated every single character in this book. And not even in like an interesting way where they were fun to hate, they were just all insufferable and I really did not give a shit about what happened to them. They were unintelligent and unlikable.
Secondly, I felt like the story had too many red herrings for my liking. I know some other people said that they were able to predict the ending, so maybe this is just a me problem, but I felt like it came out of nowhere.
That said, I really did not hate this book at all and found it entertaining and I did think that it had a satisfying conclusion.
