Malintzin's Choices: An Indian Woman in the Conquest of Mexico by Camilla Townsend

dark emotional informative sad medium-paced

4.0

an interesting and detailed text about la malinche (malintzin). never had heard of her before this book but revealed a lot about her-- as much as could be discovered about her. honestly started to drag in the second half of the book. i was skimming once i reached the chapter about her son don Martín. probs should've just stopped once malintzin died.
