This book combines a steamy romance worthy of Nora Roberts, with a suspenseful plot perfect for fans of TV shows like "Criminal Minds" or "CSI". This book is part of Andrea Kane's "Forensics Instincts" and although this is the first of the series I have read, I had no problems catching up with the backstories of Casey Woods and her investigative team.
I would prefer a little less heat and a little more romance,but enjoyed the suspense of the book. I thought some aspects of the case should have been obvious to an elite group of investigators, but there were still plenty of twists and turns to keep my interest. I enjoyed the book overall, especially because of the interesting storyline and likeable characters.
