Dette er mine gamle dager by Tore Renberg

I have always hated Jarle Klepp(the protagonist), ever since I read "Mannen som elsket Yngve", but especially in "Pixley Mapogo". This book shows a different side of Jarle, he is more experienced, more grown up- he understands that he has made many mistakes and there are many things he does not understand. Also, the parent-child relationship is explored both from a parent's perspective (Jarle) and from a child's perspective(also Jarle, and his relationship with his dfather). To sum it up.. it is a very touching book. I don't even hate Jarle Klepp anymore, I just think he's a bit stupid. Thoug, anyone can be stupid.
