I thought it was a really fun book. I definitely enjoyed Data's exploration of his humanity. The thing I didn't like was how everything was turned back at the end, with Data not remembering anything, other than instances of Deja Vu. I understand for it to fit with the actual series, he can't have had the experience of actually becoming human, but books that make it so things never happened are annoying.

Data is one of my favorite Trek characters. I loved this story that explores what it would be like for Data to be human and all the pain, both emotional and physical, that comes with that. A well written and thought out story that remains true to the characters while adding depth. Recommend!

One of my favorites from my teen years. Haven't read it in a long time. Some of it felt flat, but overall it was an interesting look into the mind of Data.
