this was hands down one of my favorite reads of the year so far! incredibly well-crafted characters, a funny, fast-paced, cute and believable storyline with just the right amount (just a teeny-weeny bit) of miscommunication and the most amazing banter! i honestly loved izzy and blake from the first second and fell for blake even more after the revelation of him being the ultimate cat-dad. i think the problem that arose was handled in a great way and didn't overtake the story at all. there were some minor issues that interrupted a perfect reading experience for me; that is, some errors (e.g. typos, repeating words) made it through proofreading/editing and there was one continuity issue that had me double-check whilst reading. however, that's not a reason for me to not call this book a five-star-read because it so definitely was! on another note: as there is neither a dedication nor any information on the author and no acknowledgements, i care to think that this is not the final version of the book yet and that it will probably be edited once more, hopefully erasing the errors then, too.
