The friends-to-lovers was done really well and was hot but the third act conflict was weird and confusing and frustrating and didn’t give me loads of confidence in their future. I wish these books had epilogues set in the future!

best friends. he's already head over heels for her, it clicks for her she loves him romantically too. she's overwhelmed with work, he wants to be there for her.
friends to lovers sometimes does not hit the right spot for me. they were adorable, but entering already in love <<< falling in love with the reader.

he loves her too much, she's trying to understand her feelings. they were cute, her conflicts felt a little more realistic than Mia's

It was almost 4 stars because I loved Oliver, he’s the sweetest, most caring boyfriend ever but I couldn’t connect with Lola. I understood while she acted a certain way but... She did something stupid, okay? She fixed it almost right away, I know, but.. it just ruined the book for me and there were other things she did too.. I liked her but she drove me crazy most of the time, especially at the end.

(One thing I appreciated about Lola was how she closed off when she was stressed, the mute thing is a thing I can truly relate to unfortunately.)
