I received this book from the author for the purpose of this review. All comments and opinions are entirely my own.

In The Adventures of Froblicious the Frog, children are given a wide variety of vocabulary words as well as rhyming words. The story is fun and entertaining and the pictures are very bright and engaging.

The story was slightly unrealistic on many accounts; “tripping over a seesaw” without anyone else to offset the frogs weight and the girl taking a bath fully clothed (which I’m grateful for because of the pictures, but smart little children are sure to ask “why does she have her clothes on in the bathtub?”). Because I like the stories I read to my younger siblings to be a learning opportunity, this particular story seemed to fall short in those ways and didn’t really have a moral to back it up either.

But as for the quality of the words and the excellently done pictures, it was a pretty decent little book and I still enjoyed reading it. So overall I give The Adventures of Froblicious the Frog 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it to very young children (under 6).
