I love Bri and Hudson. They are fun and plenty of chemistry you spark the pages. But will her being his best friend's little sister become a problem?

Dare to Tease is a fast-paced novella featuring Bri Prescott and Dr Hudson Northfield and with little angst and plenty of sweetness it was engaging and entertaining to read.

Sweet fast paced novella. I liked these two and definitely felt their chemistry. I just wish we had gotten a bit more. Everything was good until Bri felt like she was being deceived. I can understand her feelings but I'm a firm believer in hearing people out and getting cold hard facts. It bothers me when people get emotional before hearing others out. Definitely enjoyed this read though.

After reading the 4 books about the men in the Prescott family I was happy to read Bri's story.

Being the only girl with 4 brothers Bri had to be strong and independent, she had a hard job to find a man to love her for who she was not what they wanting from her until Hudson her twin Braden's best friend showed an interest, he was funny, kind and very sexy, they hit it off from the start. This was a fast paced novella but packed with a great storyline.

I have loved this series and getting to know the siblings and their wives.

Dare to Tease by Carly Phillips – This was a Goodreads freebie in exchange for my honest review! Bri has a hoard of protective and influential brothers and a history of guys who are hitting on her to get to her family. But her twin brother’s best friend seems to like her just for herself if they can find the courage to dare! Super sweet couple who are better together! Happy Reading!

It's okay.
I haven't read previous books in series, there are small references to other couples and their books.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
Small other woman drama, his mother mentions other woman that is interested and hints to heroine they have history.
The Hero is not interested and says there is no history.
Small separation. Neither are with others during this brief time.
It is mentioned the Hero had committed issues but he feels noone he has dated in the past has stuck.
The heroine has had bad experiences as mentioned in the blurb.
HEA.

I was really forward to reading Bri's story because I loved the Dare Nation story but unfortunately, I was a bit let down by it. I liked the chemistry between the characters but there were a lot of errors for names in the novella and that took me really out of it.

This was a short, sweet novella, to close out the Dare Nation series.

Brianne Prescott works for the family sports agency, Dare Nation, and she loves her job. But, her famous athlete brothers, and her close proximity to other big time athletes, has made her search for love difficult. She can't ever trust that a man is only interested in her, and doesn't have any ulterior motives. She finally gave up on dating a while back, and she doesn't know how to change her predicament. But, then her twin brother's best friend comes into the picture, and she really wants him to be different.

Dr. Hudson Northfield and his best friend Braden Prescott have returned to Miami from a stint with Doctors Without Borders. They are working for the Miami pro football team as staff doctors, and they are also giving their time at a local clinic that needs a lot of help. He and Braden have grand plans to renovate the space and make state-of-the-art medicine available to more people who need it. But, to do that, they need money. Hudson has a trust fund from his grandfather, but it's controlled by his father, and he's not sure the old man will give him the money. Especially when what he really wants is for Hudson to be running the family business in NY. Hudson and Brianne have become friendly but he knows they both want more. He asks her to come with him to his cousin's wedding in NYC, for them to have some time alone together, and for her to be a buffer with his parents.

When Hudson and Brianne finally decide to go for it, they GO FOR IT! I loved their chemistry, and their banter as well. Brianne is so relieved to finally be with someone who only wants her for her, and Hudson has never really been interested in a relationship before, until he met Bri. They really had a strong connection.

Brianne's family was a delight as always, and I loved catching up with the prior books' couples. Hudson's family was terrible and I truly felt bad for him. I was so glad he now had the Prescott/Dares to be his family.

The dark moment here for me didn't work as well as I'd hoped. I hated that Brianne wasn't willing to listen and just walked. Even her twin was telling her she didn't have the whole story, and she wasn't willing to hear it. Ultimately it made some sense, due to her past bad experiences, but I didn't love it. Braden should also have been honest about everything he and his father discussed, but he was in a bit of a predicament too, so I understood why he didn't.

Ultimately, I did enjoy this story quite a bit, and I believed at the end that they were going to be happy together, which is all I ever want. If you loved the earlier books in this series, you'll definitely enjoy this fun conclusion.

I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. This review is my personal opinion, voluntarily given.

Happy and sexy story
5 stars

Brianne is the last of the Prescott siblings to get her happily ever after presumably making this the last in PhillipsDare Nation series. If you’ve read earlier books in the series, you’ll recognise both Brianne and Hudson from those stories. It definitely stands alone but I feel that you’ll definitely benefit from having read the previous stories in the series - especially since this is a novella which always have less detail and character development than a full-length novel.

Brianne is the twin sister of Braden, the hero from the previous book, [b:Dare To Stay|54049905|Dare To Stay (Dare Nation)|Carly Phillips|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1610928591l/54049905._SY75_.jpg|75652187]. She’s a no-nonsense sports agent who’s been burned by love in the past and doesn’t put much faith in men or love. She came across as a kind, smart and successful woman who made a life for herself, assuming she’d never do so with a man. I liked the way she went after what she wanted but still seemed relatable and with her own insecurities and fears.

Our hero, Hudson, is Braden (Bri’s twin)’s best friend although there’s little to no angst about that fact. Hudson is a fairly laidback, caring and kind guy who feels a spark with Bri, wants to explore it and is delightfully honest when he realises it’s more than he’d hoped for. I liked and understood him although I did groan when he used his male “logic” to decide to keep a secret from Bri. At least he was doing it for the right reasons but sheesh!

The pair have have been eyeing each other for a while and when they come together there’s a nice flare of heat. But it’s actually once the pair become a little more serious when the heat ratchets up. They’re also a lot more intimate because it’s clear that our pair are catching deep feelings for each other. I adored the way that both Bri and Hudson could be themselves with the other - I love it when a pair fall in love as well as becoming best friends.

Once again [a:Carly Phillips|10000|Carly Phillips|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1539819877p2/10000.jpg] delivers a fast paced, fun and sexy tale about the incomparable Dare family - or at least an offshoot of it! The book is short and you’ll just race through it, delighting in the love of both our couple and a big, ride-or-die family most of us wish we were a part of. It gave me the happies and it’s a book I would recommend. 5 stars.

Brianne is caught off guard. Hudson just acts on instinct – right place, right time. These are two people who already know each other. However, they’ve never taken things to a romantic level.

You would never know that this is a novella. Our author packs a lot into her story. Nothing feels as if it has been chopped or anything added just for the sake of putting what might be expected into a scene. It can be read as a standalone but it can also be considered an incentive. It’s a taste of the Prescott family. Her brothers make up the other four books of the Dare Nation Series.

Thinking this was going to be Brianne’s chance to shine, I felt this was more about Hudson. Hudson’s passion and what he wants to accomplish. There are things that he needs in order to get to the next level. Brianne has experience that will help but I was just expecting a little more of how her job fits into things. We get to see the heat that quickly develops which was a nice addition and didn’t seem out of place. Since it is a novella, you can expect to finish the story in just a matter of a couple of hours – which is good for those that may have a busy day scheduled but still want to get some reading in.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
