And once again, Lyssa Kay Adams did not disappoint. This is one of my most anticipated book this year and it could not arrive fast enough for me to devour, but I am grateful that this adds to the list of my favourite books of the year.

I don’t usually enjoy second chance-after-hookup kind of trope but this one is an exception. The series has always brought me both joy and tears and this one, too, successfully did, though not as much as VladElena’s story. I just couldn’t ignore the bitter feeling of Gretchen’s loneliness. Her family treated her like garbage but she somehow got out, though not unscathed, and became a better woman that her family couldn’t live up to.

AND COLTON WHEELER, oh Colton… the man that you are. I disagreed with his way of practically blackmailing Gretchen into going on dates with him but he got enough shits from the bros so there’s that. I loved his relationship with the bros and his family—it’s just so wholesome I teared up. The found family they found in each other… I want that in life.

Will we ever get a 6th book? I’m dying to read Malcolm’s story tbh.

Fun, easy to read, grumpy sunshine Christmas romance. It still has the whole crew from previous books and focuses on country star Colton Wheeler. Nothing incredible, nothing bad, just a good fun book.

I was absolutely thrilled to receive an ARC of the latest installment in Lyssa Kay Adams’ Bromance Book Club series. BONUS: it’s a Christmas Bromance!
