My least favorite book in the series. It felt a little forced as it set up for future series. I think the last book was a better finish to the series. I'd also recommend reading this right after Heartless, since I stopped to read the books in order and read some others in the universe before this I forgot some things that had happened in Heartless.

I didn't like the fake-out over the character's death, I was heartbroken and then it was, well they weren't dead, which I was thinking might happen.
I did like the vampire twist, however.
Overall, the book was a good mix of funny and emotional, it just felt a bit forced.
