While this isn’t the best book I’ve ever read, this is the book I needed at that moment. I wanted to yell at Bee when she was being dumb and I loved watching Bee and Levi’s interactions. Also! That plot twist got me (which is rare!) I was not expecting it!

Thus far this was the best from the Ali Hazelwood universe. Bee is actually very likable and I enjoyed reading her. Finally an Ali Hazelwood protagonist who is outspoken, smart and has a spine. The "adorkable" characters from her other books were getting tiring. Btw, can we stop making women usless adults? Not knowing how to cook, bein messy and not exercising is not cute or endearing, it is concerning past certain age.

4.5 star quality writing
2.5 star plot
Read as a gift to a friend
100 pgs longer than needed (it actually felt like the last 100pgs were an addition separate from the book)

I don’t normally read romance but how obvious it was from the beginning; the plot…. I don’t want to read romance.
At least it’s self-aware in the amount of coincidences…
We see it from her point of view. Everytime she’ll say his face flushed and he quickly turned away; he’s angry. *facepalm*
The language used in describing his actions and the conclusions she drew from it are so different.
Appreciated the technical POV we were given.
Made me like science even more.
HOWEVER, not everything about her has to be tied to a romantic aspect.
I’m glad the miscommunication trope wasn’t ridiculous.

[Edit:] 3.25 to 3.75
I can’t stop thinking about the characters ( they’re really well fleshed out ) and their romance.

The book is good. Love the relationship and romance here. Again I appreciate showing how hard it still is to be a girl and have a career in the university and since world. I very much appreciate the way of appreciation of mental health characters go to therapy when they need to, they do not feel emberes because of that and that is such a positive thing. My only minus is this a bit cliche but still sweet and cool story is the cat saves the day. Especially when the author a couple of pages before talking about cliche moments in books and movies. But still a good book about a very amazing love story. Every girl deserves a man like Levi.

I loved this book. It was so good. Quite spicy towards the end but very cute. I loved the build up and the development of blink .
I was so shocked when it was guy and then he was going to kill her. What!!!!!! I so did not see that coming
it was cute and I love the enemies to lovers trope. I also really enjoyed how their backstory’s came out slowly and not all at once. My favorite aspect was probably her Twitter account.

This book is just like every one of Ali Hazelwood's other books so don't go into it thinking this will be anything new. That said, it was kind of fun. Bea was a very annoying main character and there was too much of "he's so big" and "I'm so tiny" to see past. This is nothing groundbreaking, but if you are looking for a light book to finish fast, then this is a choice.
