A sweet, easy to read book. I felt it was a little slow for my liking, but good escapism nonetheless. It picks at large social issues as well as social movements, but doesn't elaborate as much as I would have liked in topics such as cultural appropriation, exclusion and privilege. However, considering these were not aims of the book, this is more of a personal preference as it would have added greater depth to the stories being told.

The story is incredible. It takes a while until he starts cycling. His heart is amazing and I am glad a read and know of the story. Having said that, the first half of the book can really drag and it took me much longer to finish the story.
