A 90s cartoon in comic book form. A little darker and more serious than your average Nickelodeon show for sure, but I mean all this in the best way. Dated but charmingly so.

This was such a fun read. All the characters I love from Geoff Johns’ run of Teen Titans are here, but before they were titans: Cassie in a wig, Bart as Impulse (my favorite adorable little clueless cinnamon bun of a speedster), Conner being a showboating horndog lol (what the heck happened to him xD), and Timmy being amazing as usual. I never knew Arrowette’s backstory but now I do (and I must say, it’s quite interesting) and the little cloud girl, Secret. I hadn’t heard of her before but I like her character. I hope she doesn’t die in future volumes. But anyway, wow. I had only seen the YJ tv show before reading this and it was really fun to see where a lot of my favorite episodes were adapted from. This volume is a little bit all over the place but it’s entertaining as heck and a must read if you’re a fan of any of the above-mentioned characters.

Did not finish after the first story. The art is HORRIBLE. The storytelling has been done better elsewhere.
