The miscommunication trope needs to die in books. The plot of this book hinges on the fact no one talks to one another. This is just lazy writing.

Michael absolutely enraged me throughout the whole book. But damn, was the story well written and definitely kept my attention until the last page. Spicy for sure! Has mystery, some suspense, and I love the characters individually. This is the first book of the series and in the grand scheme of things just one piece in a huge puzzle, if you're reading this for the first time do you're best keeping track of the family trees.

This was BEGGING to be a why choose…. !!!! Even the flashbacks set this up so well to be a why choose I’m sad

Alright we are just going to pretend Rika was 18 in the flashbacks because I can’t with this underage stuff. I loved the flashbacks but whyyyy did she have to be so young???

Kai and the steam room scene *chefs kiss*

Damn...just damn. I've never been so intrigued and aroused by a book..
This book was 100x more sexually captivating than anything i've ever read.

The ending I swear I did not see coming, Trevor! I mean I already knew he was a giant dickweed but to think he framed Rika for everything..I have to say my original guess was that Michael and his friends were just all straight out cruel fucked up people which made me hate them all but as the story unravelled my heart went out to Michael AND Kai BECAUSE they were so fucked up and accepting of that, Rika too. There was more to the story than I imagined and that was probably the best part, the book was unpredictable and I loved it so damn much.

All I can really say is if you loved the Fifty Shades and Crossfire series then you will absolutely fucking adore this book!!
