It took a long time for me to warm up to Julian at all. He was awful through much of this short story but I did enjoy getting his perspective. Palacio did a good job of helping the reader to understand Julian's fear but it didn't make me think he was all that great in the end. The best part of the story was the grandma in my opinion.

This novella was supposed to change how we saw Julian, and to get a bit of what was going on in his life especially after meeting Auggie, so we could understand his actions, but from where I saw, Julian didn't feel any remorse up until the end. Nothing justifies bullying all bullies have issues, so we deal with them not justify them. But Jullian's just a kid and he had a lesson to learn.

This story is beyond good. What a twist at the end. I cried a lot and my heart still aches... I'm in love with Wonder and the Wonder stories♡

Really enjoyed reading Wonder again. The moment my eyeballs devoured the first word, I was feeling this ball of happiness unraveling inside of my stomach and spreading its warmth throughout my entire body. When I read from Julian's perspective, I still thought that he was a jerk, but I did enjoy hearing that story from his grandmother. So many feels. All in all, Wonder... AMAZING, Julian chapter... really enjoyed it.
