I think I dare to say that this was a life changing book for me. I read it five month ago now and liked it from the beginning. It was easy to read and to understand and the concepts in the book generally made sense to me. Nevertheless I was also skeptical and the raving comments in the beginning of the book were partly too good to be true.
Now five month after having implemented the "hacks" that are introduced by Jessie Inchauspé I am a believer… Did I follow all hacks ever since? Definitely not. As recommended by the author it is a guideline not a law. I still eat sweets regularly, but only as a dessert, very rarely "without cloth". I mostly eat some fibers as a starter and therefore less carbs as I am already full. I sometimes drink vinegar water. I most of the times skip breakfast etc.
As a result I lost 5 kg in a quite short time quite effortlessly and I do not feel bloated anymore. It is so much easier than everything I tried before this. This new way of eating makes me feel much fuller after meals and I do not get hungry or feel appetite for several hours. I never experienced this feeling before.
I am not super thin now, but I achieved a status where I just feel comfortable in my skin and I know I can sustain this way of eating forever if I want to.
I highly recommend this book! (I do not have diabetes or any eating problem, so not sure how this works in these cases)
