Cage is my favorite Reynolds sibling so I had high hopes going into this book, I wanted it to meet all of expectations and it did. I wouldn't say it exceeded expectations but I did set very high ones. Gracie is my favorite child character I think I have read about, she is funny and kind and loving and Cage is an awesome dad. I love how Presley fell in love with Gracie from the start and never held it against her that she wasn't hers. I am so sad that this series is over but I loved every minute! It was a perfect series closer.

finished off this series ! i will miss it. the wedding scene at the end was a lovely conclusion, with all the cousins together.

i really like cage and presley (and gracie). i was sad that presley had to give up her career in order to stay with them ... but to be fair the law firm didn't seem to be very nice anyway.

i usually praise laura for not putting her characters through the 85% break up ... but there is a trend developing in her work of a 85% car accident / heart attack / general trip to hospital. its still better than a miscommunication break up but there's only so many times the whole family can go to hospital together!

now i've finished this series i actually have to crack on with uni books. fellowship of the ring here we come

This series got better with each book. I LOVED this book though I wasn’t sure I would after reading some reviews on how the pregnancy situation occurred..
Typical, ‘the one who got away’ and ‘second chance romance’ but executed so so well.
Grumpy Cage had his moments but his redemption and love for his girls shone in the end.

Favorite book of the series!

Presley returns to Cottonwood cove following her father's stoke and the fall of her already loveless marriage. Just like any other small town it is impossible for her to avoid her ex, and the run ins with him and his daughter are inevitable. And the pull they feel for each other is close to impossible. I loved the romance these two had, they both endure the same struggles of what they want and what they feel like they should do. Presley with her live in New York and her life in Cottonwood Cove, and Cage with his pull to Presley and wanting to protect his daughter.

I loved Presley, I think she was my favorite FMC. She's stubborn and hard headed while also being able to fly free. I think this was a great end to the series! Seeing everything come full circle and a final appearance of the Honey Mountain crew. Felt like had a little bit of everything and felt absolutely heart warming.

I love a good second-chance romance. Cage and Presley are so good together. They fight but at the end of the day they love each other passionately. Time hasn’t always been on their side, Presley marries somebody else when Cage has a baby with somebody else and they spend years of their lives separated. When they come back together due to Presley returning to Cottonwood Cove, it’s obvious that they never stopped loving each other. Cage is this grumpy, protective, caring single-father. Presley is this quirky, independent, loving person. The only people that grumpy Cage shows any emotion other than grumpiness are his family, Gracie, and Presley. It seems for a while that they won’t end up together because of where they’re at in their lives and the distance between them but that all gets resolved in the most unexpected of ways. Cage, Presley, Gracie, and all their animals get the happily ever after in the end, and I was here for it. Loved it.

The characters and simultaneously quirky but also super relatable. Which the author did an awesome job with! They really draw you in and you become invested in their story and if they’ll end up together. There’s a lot of tension and love in the book.

I have loved this entire series by Laura Pavlov, but have been anxiously awaiting Cage’s book and it did not disappoint. I loved this grumpy single dad!

Gracie is the sweetest little girl, and her character added so much to the story. I was obsessed with her and her spilling Cage’s secrets without realizing what she was doing, five year olds and honest truths.

The epilogue was the perfect way to wrap up the series, but I’m going to miss these characters. This series has a piece of my heart.

okay, I’m glad I decided to read this! The writing was slightly better and it was much more enjoyable bc I was reading one of my fav tropes. It was also nice to see what was going on in the other character’s lives after skipping their books lmao. I was glad Cage, Presley, and Gracie got their happily ever after and I’m officially signing off on this series
