After recently binging three of her books, Paige Toon is now my favorite British romance author! Her books are emotional, heart warming and impossible to put down! This is a best friends to lovers story all about timing and fate. It follows Nell and Van who first meet at age five and are inseparable. However, after a tragic incident, at age ten, their lives are pulled in opposite directions. Since that moment life brings them back together every five years, and with each different phase of life, all the way up to adulthood, their chemistry and love only deepens. This was on track to be a five star read until the ending. Not that it was bad (at all) but I was just hoping for a different path. Still worth the read!!

Read if you like:
-British romances
-Stories about timing and fate
-Best friends to lovers stories
-We’ll described, beautiful settings
