Shadow!!!!

Shadow is your typical biker with a huge side of alphaness. The incident that happened that cost them a year apart would have been cut shorter if they would have communicated. The viper that cost them that year I felt was not dealt with the way I would have dealt with it. Hey what can I say I can be just a tad blood thirsty when people behave stupidly.
Renee is a strong heroine who has been mistreated by every man she has had a relationship with. She has a motto you screw me over once I'm done. She has walks built around her to not only protect herself, but her son Dylan as well.
When the two of them finally come together it is not ideal, but it also shows Renee that Shadow can be trusted. He tells her several times he is there to stay, and he proves just that. When the walls come tumbling down the love just shines through the both of them.
I love how the club's domestic violence program has grown through all the clubs. It is a really issue and I like how the author writes about it.
I love how we get to see the other characters from previous books, but also started a storyline for another book. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future holds for the rest of the crew.
