This was such an enjoyable read, I loved the set up, and loved these two!

I liked the story although I realised I prefer my main characters to be adults but at least I know now. I had few annoyances with some of the characters but overall still liked it and was really an enjoyable, quick read🤗

2.5 stars. You’ve Got Mail in YA, what could go wrong? Apparently a lot. There was a major lack of cohesion. Lots of plot elements going on and switching courses so much I didn’t know what I was supposed to care about. The dialogue was very cringe and unrealistic, and the characters were very flat, explained in quirky habits without having much agency for most of the book. They also went from pranks and real rage to a serious accident to being a couple but “oh, we can’t be a couple” when they definitely could be. Just weird flow and problems that shouldn’t have been.

Rival booksellers? Yes, yes, yes.

They start in a low stakes prank war that escalated and ultimately he does things that I just didn’t really forgive him for.

She was immature and rude so ultimately I guess they deserved each other?

Tried to read this book a few times and honestly could not get into it. I found both of the characters so unlikable and immature that I couldn’t get into the book.
