What a ridiculous book. Nobody is likeable, not even the 15 year old daughter. Jenn becomes obsessed with Nathan out of nowhere. Honestly don't get what the author was on when she wrote this pile of shit

Astonished at how poorly this is written. This is a character-driven novel supposing to explore the dark themes of a dissatisfied wife/mother and her sexual chemistry with her daughter’s (TEENAGE) boyfriend. It has literary pretensions, thinking itself sensual and edgy, but the reality of the writing is that it is completely ludicrous and contrived. The characters are the flattest ones I’ve ever read and everything they do is unsubstantiated by any clear reasoning or motive. “Bored housewife erotica”.
