Beautiful book.

Even if lord of the rings is not your thing, everyone should admire how thorough Tolkien and his family have been in creating and maintaining this world, mythology and lore. This book really only adds to the world as it provides maps and graphics in chronological order by each age with a description of the time period in relation to that location.

Honestly, this was a lot better than A Dictionary of Tolkien. It was shorter, quicker, and with way more pictures. I enjoyed this one a lot better.

This is a musthave/mustread for the Tolkien fan! From the beautiful binding to the gorgeous artwork everything is stunning. Very cool to see everything fall in to place on the maps etc.
