I really liked the characters and the magic system but the pacing of this book really troubled me.
It was like not much happened for more than 300 something pages but again the plot was more about character intro, political conflicts, world building, explaining the magic system and the processes and though I enjoyed it I would have liked it more if the first part was not so much dragged out.
And I want some answers soon.

i loved the characters, i loved the world, i loved the writing style, i enjoyed reading it but i feel like the book has no plot for the first 350 pages ...

I’ve read this book twice and enjoyed it both times however there’s a whole lot of nothing really happening in it. Enjoyable enough but honestly don’t know if it’s enough to keep me wanting to read the rest of the series
