This book was amazing. I laughed, I cried (wasn't expecting it tbh). I really resonated with the characters, and I loved the amount of secrets. The diversity was amazing and the way Colfer wrote the characters was exceptional. I really enjoyed this book. It's a very fun read, up to the last 15-25 pages, haha. The characters we very relatable and even Cash was relatable, at times.

I actually put off this read, but when I found out that Chris Colfer was coming to my state, I pushed it farther up my tbr. One of my favorite reads of the summer and DEFINITELY worth it!!

I started stranger than fanfiction thinking it was going to be a light happy read about coming of age and living happily ever after. I was very wrong. It had quite a few dark themes, scary moments, but what shines though for me is the unrelinquishing friendships explored here. It is a story that will make you laugh and cry, and though it is not without its dark patches, I would highly recommend you read it. 4.6 stars.
