A good addition to this series, it was fun to learn he'd always loved animals and to know that so many creatures have been named after him.

True British lad. It is always a bit funny to see how a child of two educated people becomes highly educated too, like who could have expected. At least the guy cares about the climate. Am just not a big fan of people, who get a bunch of stuff named after them, specifically when we are talking about naming species of animals and plants.

Usually I have heard of the people in these little biographies, and while I had heard of David Attenborough, I just thought he was a broadcaster. I was not aware that he was a conservationist, or studied animals and did shows on them.

This is a odd edition of the book, in that the animals are anthropomorphized. It doesn't add to the story, and actually confuses things, a little bit.

Because my edition of the Netgalley edition didn't have the timeline included, I wasn't able to match the things the book said, with the facts about Sir David. Mores the pity.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

Another fabulous edition to this series about true legends. One of my favourite men on the planet and a lot of other peoples too. A lovely introduction to teaching children about great characters and also to inspire them

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

This was the first from this series I have read.

I really enjoyed it, and the muted colour tones were beautiful, however even for a children’s book it felt a bit short and for a person who has had a truly colourful and vibrant life… this felt a little slower and … not so vibrant.

The sentence structure and vocabulary is age appropriate, and it was a pretty book with a lovely art style.

I am interested to read more from this series, but feel this one might have missed the mark a little…

Another winner from Little People Big Dreams about the amazing David Attenborough who has been involved with some amazing television programmes and really set the agenda for nature documentaries.
A great. read. again.
