I wish this was a bit longer. Disturbing read, especially in 2017.

There's a lot of stuff in here that's super cool and interesting and fun but ultimately, it felt like it had only just gotten going by the time it begun. Spent too much time going "huh, where is this going" and not enough time saying "yo dude, this shit is sick".

The story itself isn’t much, and it’s not helped by the art… it’s hard to figure who is who and what happened. But the technology and the issues it raises is interesting, and much more fully explored in The Peripheral.

Wanted to give it a higher score but the artwork and particularly the female characters hold it back. Story is a solid time travel to alter/save the world trope and a decent take on it, except the end. Too obvious. The artwork was just too standard, without edge and then the female characters, nope they just were far too posed or not sufficiently realistic especially in combat situations.

Mini-Review:

Great little audio-drama! A time-travel story with engaging characters. This adaptation was well written and styled for an audio performance. For the most part, I really enjoy the Audible Originals productions.

Interesting sci-fi thriller until issue 4&5 where the action becomes messy and the art takes a stumble.

Looking at the character sketches included in the back pages it's clear some content was cut, and it shows.

Also the last page is just terrible.

It's enjoyable despite it's flaws, however I can't say that I wasn't disappointed.
