The best thing about this book was the homage it paid to the film The Warriors (Baseball Furies!). The rest of the book was disappointing. There were too many POVs (5!). I hate when a character breaks the 4th wall and talks to the readers and in this case one ever referred to the reader as "readers" directly. Top it off this book was very dull with not much happening but boring politics.

I think that this book was very good yet it had a few things that I disliked. The first thing is that I didn't like the way that the author wrote donna's point of view. She was very annoying a times and the way she spoke was annoying also. You could tell that the author wanted to sound cool but ended up sounding dumb. I think that the love triangle is very obvious yet I would like for Jefferson to end up with Kath because I think that Jefferson and Donna really clash as characters and that they make a very ugly couple. I also got confused at times but the author tended to make everything else simple and in the end I found it understandable.

Not as good as the first book I felt like all that happened could have been added on to another book instead of its own story. It was just really predictable and I really hate when characters are split up just to further the plot without any real reason.

Kinda better than the first book, but not by much. Too many plot twists in an already convoluted plot. I agree with the other reviews that say the characters are stereotypes and one-dimensional.

I only read this book because I already owned it after I finished the first one. If I can find the third one at Half Price Books or a second hand store, then I’ll buy and read it eventually...which is not saying much considering the book ended with a couple big cliffhangers.
