This story was FUCKING BRUTAL! It took me three days to get through it and I felt like the brutality didn’t have a pause in this one. Like I literally couldn’t take a breath from it. I gave it four stars only based on how it ends.

What did I like? I have no triggers but I’ll be honest… I almost gave up. How much rain do we need to get to a rainbow. The book needs hope blown in there somewhere. I’ve read nearly everything by this author and she just takes this book to a whole new level. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart.

Would I recommend? If your into brutal angst between two people then read this. Zero triggers then you may get through it.

I received a complimentary copy but I buy all books from this author. I’m hoping the next story will let me breathe!
