So after reading the first book I had to jump quickly to this one to get all my questions answered. Who would Heidi end up with, was she going to end up with Alex or would her and Nick let her explain what went on. Does her son get his surgery that he needs . Wondering about the housekeeper too with the looks she gave Heidi sometimes.
I was kept intrigued, just when I thought that Heidi and Alex were going to work things out – in comes Nick, and then the twist thrown at the right time made me keep flicking the pages to see how it was all going to work out.
I can’t say much about the book without spoiling it but there was a HEA and was sad to have it end, but all the questions were answered - another great read by Delaney Foster. Loved this series it’s a must read.

Book Review: A Man's World
Author: Delaney Foster
FIVE STARS
Delaney Foster is a master at sucking you in, wrapping you up in the story and making you feel like you are right there with the main characters of her books. In A Man's World, you get more of Nick and Heidi and of course Alex. But to me, even though both books are written in dual POV, it seems as if I got more Nick than Heidi in this book. I love this book. To know what is going on in Nick's mind as well as Heidi's. There are moments when you want to just scream out at Nick and say WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?? The dynamics are just off the charts. The twists in this book with Nick and his past are just fabulous too. I am so glad I finally read these books. I am notorious for downloading things on my kindle and then forgetting them.
I picked these books up and read them from first word to last and they leave you WANTING AND NEEDING to know what happens. My problem was 1. I had already switched shifts so that I could go in later that day, and now OMGosh how was I going to be able to start A Man's World? I had to go to work. I can't call off. SO, I started reading A Man's World on my 30 minute lunch break. Then my 15 minute break, thank goodness it was a slow evening at work as I read between customers and phone calls.
I finished both books in the duet, and the spinoff ( A Perfect Gentleman ) Alex's story, within 48 hours. I am so in love with all 3 (now four after Alex's story was completed) main characters.
Nick the State Senator.
Heidi the single mom/interior designer/business owner.
Alex/Nate the best friend/lawyer/kickboxing instructor.
The relationships between the characters and the dynamics with which they show their passions for life and the things they hold most dear to them.
A Woman's Touch and A Man's World can be purchased seperately or they can be purchased in a "duet", in the duet you get a special bonus Novella about Nick and Heidi as well. I have read Delaney Foster's books before and they are so full of detail and emotions. You can't go wrong with a Delaney Foster book. She is amazing.
