I'm a self-taught knitter, so any book that proclaims I'll be able to do more than just a knit stitch by the end of the book is one I'm going to try.
I actually found a lot of this extremely helpful. The images of the different stitches were great: it's easier to see if you're doing something right when you have something to compare it to, after all. Additionally, there were a few tips and tricks in there about picking up dropped stitches and when you have to frog part of a project that I'll definitely be taking!
The projects look simple enough, but alas, as this is a library book, I don't have enough time to try out all of the projects.
Definitely on my to buy list!
