very sweet biography, pretty informative and I think makes why someone would want to transition easy to understand for anyone who picks the book up for a read

This was very cute and personal. Not representative of every trans experience, but very honest about that. Really felt more like a teen book, so a bit sad that it was cataloged for the adult section at the library. But it's always nice to read about a "happy ending." And I love weddings, so there you go :)

This was nice! It’s written very much in a way to be informative, so it can be helpful to others.

As someone who is familiar with trans issues, this didn’t bring much to the table. It was still a sweet and informative perspective on the life of a Japanese trans woman. I very much hope it reaches more of its target audience (those more unfamiliar with trans issues and the trans experience).

I’m also glad that Chii’s experience (all things considered) was a more positive one. Her life certainly wasn’t easy, but she had her family to support her. She found a loving husband. Seems like things worked out well for her!

This was cute!! Husband-kun is absolutely adorable and I love him and I'm so happy that Bride-chan found her happiness in her identity and in her marriage to such a sweet man who loved her from the start.

I was also really interested in the information between chapters. It was really informative to learn about the laws and customs in Japan around LGBT folks, marriage, and legally changing your gender markers.

This was my first manga and it was so fun! It was interesting to learn about how queer folks are legally treated in Japan, and 'husband-kan' is such a keeper omg I'm so happy for them both
