Super cute story of the realities behind a reality tv show taping. The reality show is called the ABC's of Business, a show that helps bring dilapidated businesses back to life, an old family-owned campground, in this case. The characters were fun, the storyline was smooth, and I enjoyed listening to it as I drove to and from work and then whenever else I could squeeze time in. Nothing super deep, just good, clean entertainment. The book is from Hallmark Publishing, so think along the lines of the Hallmark Channel.

Love on Location was a sweet, clean, friends-to-lovers romance. It was super easy to see from the beginning where it was going to go, but Cassidy Carter did a really great job writing all of the details in so the reader doesn’t lose interest.

I really enjoyed the trope of friends-to-lovers mixed with reality television mixed with a fixer upper narrative. It was pretty different than anything I’ve ever read before in a romance novel. The fact that they were willing to make it work in this small town where the reality show wanted to come in and change everything was a true testament for how things are nowadays. It was an awesome way to show the other side of the small businesses and things of that sort.

I really liked the characters. Delaney and Wyatt for sure had the chemistry that I like to see in a friends-to-lovers novel. I felt it in every word between them which is hard to do! The only reason why I gave this story a four-star rating is because I’m not someone who likes woman/woman jealousy. I don’t like the idea of a woman being so jealous over another woman and holding back because they don’t want to interfere. This book doesn’t really have the room for a jealousy intrusion. I didn’t really see how it fit.

Overall, I really enjoyed Love on Location‘s story. It wasn’t something I’ve read before and I really loved the character development. I will for sure read more of Cassidy Carter’s books when they come out!

It was a sweet quick listen with a pretty bow ending, just like a Hallmark movie.

4.5! This book was cute - exactly what you would expect with a hallmark read. Sometimes makes you angry at how stupid you think they are being but still ends up being exactly what you need to read in you are in for a cute little romance :)

Cabins in the Pines is in trouble and it looks like there’s no way out, except Delaney, who seems to fix everything, has contacted a reality TV program that is interested in renovating the campground. Now she just has to drop this bombshell on her best friend, Wyatt.

Love on Location didn’t really have any surprises for me. It’s a simple, wholesome story that you could easily see turned into a Hallmark movie.

Another hit from Hallmark Publishing. It is a fast, fun read and the main characters Delaney & Wyatt are too cute! They are childhood best friends, working together at Wyatts family campground. Cabin in the Pines is in financial trouble and a needs renovation to drive guests in. Delaney applies for a business reality show and gets chosen, the Pines are going to be saved! I really enjoyed the reality TV aspect of the book. Little different, but it worked!

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC.

2.5 = it was fine

I’m not that into this genre, and I, like very few people, am not a sucker for a Hallmark movie. I avoid them, and can’t lose myself in the stupid sap, I just can’t.

This one started off okay, at a 3-star pace but it just kept going for too long and it didn’t manage to capture a ‘will they ever get there’ feeling for me, it just got annoying.

I thought the business offer plot was flimsy and I thought Alex, the show host, was also flimsy and not thought through.

I am trying to be less critical of romances and to learn to appreciate them for what they are, but this one was just boring.

Maybe they really just aren’t for me, but when people like them, don’t they see these obvious weaknesses in plot and character?

I love Hallmark books because they make me feel good and cheer up if I'm a bit down.
This book was no exception: it was heart-warming and sweet, the perfect read for a cold afternoon.
I loved the plot, the characters and the setting.
The book was well written and I look forward to reading other work by this author.
Highly recommended!
Many thanks to Hallmark Publishing and Netgalley for this ARC

This book is so cute! I found myself chuckling outloud several times. I rooted for Wyatt and Delaney the entire time. And I keep dreaming of summer camp now.
