This continues to be a series that most resembles a CW TV show. In that sense, I'm unbothered that it's incomplete - these books are just a season in an older teen TV show. At least there was a second "good" female character in this installment, even though her inclusion is in relation to a male character. The main love interest is interesting and his decisions/choices lean rational and justified.

I liked the action, but Piper was very annoying and dumb. I don’t think I want to read the 3rd installment

Sooo

So I have apparently read this book also and it was just as awesome as before. The fight scenes are so great. Just enough romance to keep you going. And the fight scenes.

Lackluster ending. I was let down. Could have went so many different directions, but clearly set-up for spin-offs...

More info dumping. Ugh! More explaining. More telling. More whiny little girl with no reason to hang with the big dogs, but she's gonna try anyway because she has no other purpose in life, and sees no point in searching for another one.
