This book was trash but I liked it. The whole thing was a bit pointless and I didn’t care massively but it was an easy, entertaining read.

Avery needs money to buy the restaurant she manages. Emmett needs a fake girlfriend to help him win mayor. Avery doesn’t like Emmett at first, he reminds her of her dad. Obviously her and Emmett end up falling in love and avery realizes Emmett is actually a really good guy. I thought this book was cute and funny. I wasn’t such a fan of the background of either characters and the plot (running for mayor and restaurant owner) but it was cute nonetheless
