"Two killers - one operating in America, one in Europe - believe Alex Cross is the only worthy opponent in the deadly game each has planned. And Alex must contend with something he hasn't known since the loss of his wife: he's falling deeply in love, and this romance will make him, and her, all the more vulnerable.." (From Amazon)

I enjoyed this suspenseful thriller novel.

I've read quite a few James Patterson novels and none of them have been spectacular, the writing isn't at all brilliant, but he tells a good story. So if you're a murder mystery fan, his books of that genre are usually good enough for a little holiday reading

I'm about half way through and I'm not sure I get this one. So far the two storylines have nothing in common. Done now and this one just didn't do it for me.

Sometimes you read a book by a very famous writer and think, "how the hell did you attain your position?"

This is one of those books. Absolute dogshit.
