This was such a cute book about how she worked super hard to get to where she’s at! I loved reading about her life growing up and learning more about her. I discovered this book trying to search for books about “self-love”. I didn’t really know what it was going to be about or who Loni was. But I am so glad I decided to randomly read this book. It captured my attention and was sad at times but also funny and adorable at other times. It’s a good read!

To be honest when I picked this book I didn’t know who Loni Love was. I just loved the title of the book. Although a bit repetitive at times, Loni has a great story of rising to fame and working her ass off despite all odds against her.

I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
I’m a fan of The Real and all of the main ladies on it, but I especially like Loni for her bold personality, so I was excited to read a book from her and get more insight into her life and the lessons she’s learned through her experiences. And while the book is infused with her signature humor that had me in stitches, she also provides some moving commentary about what it was like to grow up with the obstacles she faced, like poverty, racism, and uncertainty, and find both success and, eventually, self-love.
