DNF  about 70/90 pages in. 1 star.
I love poetry, but this did nothing for me. The rhythm and structure was hardly there. The words itself were so randomly priced together than I got no meaning out of these poems. On the few occasions where I thought I might finally understand (let alone enjoy) one of the poems, Sylvia Plath’s blatant racism shows & turns me off the read. I heard this was accurate representation of mental illness, and as someone with several severe diagnoses I was excited to read this. It was also recommended to me by a friend from my poetry classes. However, this is the first book I’ve ever spent money on that I wish I never bought or read. I Wasted  time, wasted money, and more importantly Plath wasted paper and wasted words.
