I am disappointed with this one. 
It felt like the author made Marcus’s “death”/ diseapearances a way to get Ayla, Ryland and Theo close. And because of that, it felt like it was forced. 
In the first book, Marcus and Ayla really stick out to me. I didn’t like how A, R and T are having sex while they didn’t know what happened to Marcus at that time… I was rolling my eyes…
At this point, the plot started to get dragged and I just wanted to skim through it. 
While I like a strong FMC, this one feels forced. Whenever Ayla tries to include herself, when she just entered into this F-up world was cringy.

But not gonna lie, she was smart at the end for realizing that
Leo, the current richest man in the city, is playing all the 13 players as puppets because he is “the Viper”. He just keeps getting popular….


I am still gonna read the last book, but I don’t think it’s gonna do much for me…
