!!! The audio version has an interview with the author, voice actress, etc!!! Ekkkkk!!!!

This ended up being cute and it was genius of the author to have already started this story in the first book. SPOLIER: However, I'm not going to lie, the Amy and Lori relationship did not get me very excited since it came out of a love triangle in Little Women. So, the parallel made me cringe at times. But I think I ended up liking Ror and Toby together, but it took until the END(and I'm still not sure, just like in Little Women, so well done Tiffany! Bahaha). The first half of these books are so painful. Bahaha.

I desperately want to get my hands on the next book. I have a feeling it's going to be my favorite in the series.

Read if you like classical literature, like contemporary romance, like high school contemporary romance, have a bookish boyfriend, like a little bit of magic.

Warning tape: normalized homosexuality, but not the main focus.

i loved [b:A Date with Darcy|35888335|A Date with Darcy (Bookish Boyfriends, #1)|Tiffany Schmidt|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1519608635l/35888335._SX50_.jpg|56284342]. It was just perfect.

This one fell a little flat for me. I enjoyed it but not as much as [b:A Date with Darcy|35888335|A Date with Darcy (Bookish Boyfriends, #1)|Tiffany Schmidt|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1519608635l/35888335._SX50_.jpg|56284342].

I wont be continuing the series.

I enjoyed this one but maybe just a little less than the first. I think it had a strong start and I enjoyed the two classics being retold: The Great Gatsby and Little Women. The characters were likable and well developed. The romance is perfect for middle grade. I did feel like it went on too long and while I enjoyed Rory as the littlest sister who feels like she always gets left out and that nobody loves her in the beginning, by the end it was repetitive and annoying.

Oh dear. My heart has melted again after reading another adorable rom com, but really, I'm not upset. I liked this one better than the first one in the series. I related to Rory a lot more than Meri. However, I really liked how the first book set this one up, even though they were from two different perspectives. Overall, I'd recommend!

I was super excited for this book! Having read and loved the first book in this BOokish Boyfriends series, A Date With Mr. Darcy, I was ready to learn more about Rory and her book, Little Women.. The concept of the series, a amazing teacher giving books that parallel life, is totally something I love.
Rory, Aurora, Campbell is the younger sister of our first heroine, Merri. But she is not a lot like her sister, she is sarcastic, independent, artistic, and desperately in love with their next-door neighbor, Toby, who also happens to be one of Merriā€™s best friends.
In this book, we learn a lot about Rory, her wishes, hopes, insecurities, and her story. She grows from her hiding her feelings, to expressing herself through her art, and to growing closer to her sisters. I really enjoyed seeing the similarities and differences between her life and Little Women.. Rory and Toby were super cute. I really like when the couple are friends first, and when they really get to know each other first. It was also nice to see all the characters from the first book.
I would recommend this book, though after reading the first one, to readers in their teens. It is clean and fun. It is a romantic coming- of-age story with a little magic!
