This is my first time reading Harry Potter and now I understand why people love it so much. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books.

2nd read notes:
1) A few events didnt feel as excited as the first time, having gone through them before (like Harry's first flying experience).
2) I see a few characters with a different perspective.
3) A part of the adult me finds Dumbledore an unfair headmaster. Slytherins have worked hard through out the year to get their house points. While the work of Harry, Hermione and Ron deserved it, giving those last extra points to Neville is not just. The teen version of me cheered it then but now, I dont find it right.

First time reading the Harry Potter series. I tried to read them when I was younger and couldn't get into it. I wasn't really a Harry Potter fan when I was a kid, but I thought the movies were alright. As I've gotten older, I've come to love the Harry Potter movies and decided to try reading the books again now that I have a new appreciation for the world of Harry Potter. I'm so glad I finally decided to give the books another chance. I enjoyed the book just as much as the movies. I can't wait to read the rest.
