All these books that have the same date for the summer of ‘22 are because I was locked out of Goodreads and didn’t note the day I read the books.

Quick impressions: This is a nice collection of artistic art pieces using LEGO bricks. The compendium ranges from very detailed lifelike replicas of various objects and even monuments to imaginative creations like mythical creatures and spaceships. It includes artist interviews. Strength of the book is in the photography. Overall, a great book for fans of LEGO.

The title is no lie, these are beautiful Lego models. If you thought Legos were just for creating what is on the box, you need to check this out.

Being a AFOL I had to check out this book. There are some beautiful lego art pieces shown within. And a few AFOL artists as well. My area of interest lies in mosaics, spacecraft and robots. There are a few of each category in this book. A nice showcase of what others are doing and what can be done in lego.

art books (books of art work) are nearly impossible for me to rate on a star system. if you like LEGO (or ever did) it's great even if you just look at the pictures (which are the primary subject matter). it's so cool to see the variety of work, the scale and the detail even in the smallest things.

Picked this book up for Martin, but I'm the one who read the entire work. The artistic creations - and they truly are art - are amazing and detailed. Takes Legos to an entire new level.

Mike Doyle had the talent and good fortune to grow up and become a LEGO master builder! He put together a collection of impressive LEGO models and artworks by many artists and builders. I liked that they weren't all grandiose - some were cool because they were so tiny and concise. This book was a joy and would also make a great gift for a teen or adult.
