I had really high hopes for this because the first one was so good!

I felt like it was a little short and a few of the storylines wrapped up but I wish it wrapped up a little more.

I hope there's a third book.

I didn’t expect to like this one more than the first at the beginning, but I did! I was rooting and gasping and my heart was breaking right along with the characters. I thought it would be easy to predict like a Hallmark movie, but none of my guesses as to how anyone would end up were right. I want a third book!

This book was a nice continuation of the main four characters story. There was a lot more character development in this book and I liked how their stories continued on. Filled with court drama, royal responsibilities, and secret romances, this book was a lot of fun. I am excited to finish the third and final book of the series next!

Meh.

Better than the first book, but once again the ending was garbage. Tried too hard to add a feminist touch at the end. Felt too forced. Which was similar to the ending of the first book. “This is what I want!” And then a curveball is thrown. “No, this is what I want and screw everyone else!” Ugh can we not?
